This Christmas spiced vinaigrette brings festive warmth to any seasonal salad. With sweet balsamic, honey, and warming spices, it pairs beautifully with dishes that contain fruit like my Christmas Salad with Clementines, Pecans and Prosciutto. It’s a simple dressing that instantly adds a holiday touch to your table.

Serve as part of this alternative gluten free Christmas menu and wow your guests this holiday season!

If you are looking for more vinaigrette ideas, check out this post.

Ingredients needed to make Christmas Spiced Vinaigrette

  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard (unsweetened mustard is best)
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 180ml neutral flavoured oil (I prefer avocado oil)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pumpkin spice (or another festive mixed spice)

How to make Christmas Spiced Vinaigrette

Simply place all of the ingredients in a jar, screw on the lid (tightly!) and shake until the ingredients are completely mixed together.

This vinaigrette is best if you can put it in the fridge for a couple of hours before serving. Shake well before use.

Make ahead options:

This salad dressing can be made up to 3 days in advance and kept in the fridge.
It is actually best when made slightly in advance and kept in the fridge for a couple of hours before serving.

Be sure to shake well before use.
